SPRAYING NOZZLES

The spraying nozzles for spraying is a component designed to transform the total energy of a liquid vein into kinetic energy, generating a jet with a defined shape, which can be used in different industrial processes.

Depending on the flow rate and pressure range, the nozzle can provide greater penetration or a flow rate that can vary according to the pressure.

In our nozzle catalog  (click here) you will find the nozzle that best suits the needs or requirements of the application, depending on the flow rate and pressure range exerted. Although spray sprayer nozzles are small components, they are vital to ensure proper spraying in some industries.

TYPES OF NOZZLES

Each type of nozzle types therefore has its own characteristics and different functionalities; they can be with flat jet, full cone, or empty cone.

  • FLAT JET NOZZLES

In this nozzle, the area covered by the spray is in an elongated elliptical shape. The dimension of the lateral axis is relative to the distance between the nozzle and the covered area. The longitudinal axis dimension is a function of the nozzle distance and the spray angle.

  • FULL CONE NOZZLES

In this type, the inner part of the cone is also evenly filled with liquid particles. The imprint in a plane perpendicular to the spray axis is a circle, whose diameter is always a function of the nozzle distance and the spraying angle.

  • HOLLOW CONE NOZZLES

In this nozzle type, the particles are distributed, forming the outer surface of an empty cone. The area covered by the spray, falling perpendicularly to the jet, is a circumference whose diameter is relative to the distance of the nozzle and the spray angle. Our catalog offers a wide range of hollow cone sprayer nozzles to cover different industrial needs.

NOZZLE APPLICATIONS

The possible nozzle applications are various: washing, wetting, cooling, and spraying liquid application on different surfaces.

A nozzle can be found in almost any industry, such as food and beverage, paper, snow, textile, iron and steel, fire, chemical and pharmaceutical, wood, plastics, etc. Our wide range of nozzles for spraying ensures that every application has the right solution.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE NOZZLES

The most relevant features to consider when choosing a nozzle are as follows:
  • TYPE/SHAPE OF THE SPRAY

Solid cone, empty cone, flat jet or atomizer

  • FLOW FACTOR

Flow rate of liquid in liters per minute at a defined pressure

  • SPRAY ANGLE

The opening angle of the jet produced.

  • MATERIAL

    Brass, stainless steel, others

  • CONNECTION

The main factors that influence the diameter of the drops are the flow rate, pressure, and spray type. Generally, increasing the flow rate with the same force; leads to an increase in the diameter of the drops. Increasing the pressure reduces the diameter of the droplets, as well as increases the spray angle.

Euspray has been producing and reselling spray nozzles for several years. The product range in the catalog is broad, and we are attentive to new market demands trying to develop and customize the product in collaboration with the market needs.

Historically, one of the sectors where Euspray has developed its nozzles concerns washing at low or high pressure. The main products in this field are the flat jet ones, MC3 – MC2 – CD3 – CD4 – TC series.
